If the glorious weather this past week has got you dreaming about the epic adventures summer will bring, behold the lineup announcement for Tall Tree Music Festival.
Tall Tree is as classic West Coast as it gets — picture thousands of people camping on a mountain-top in Port Renfrew while an incredible lineup of musicians play four different stages. To top it off, the festival supports Ancient Forest Alliance and a kids music program in Renfrew. What’s not to like?
This year’s lineup is one of the best yet and features Canadian indie rock stars Mother Mother, Victoria’s own Current Swell, Canadian alternative hip-hopper Shad and American world music collective Nahko & Medicine for the People from June 30 to July 3.
I can’t think of a better place in the world to listen to these three songs than on top of Browns Mountain at Tall Tree — can you?
On the electronic side of the house, American house music producer DJ Dan and Calgary’s Smalltown DJs complement local faves Xavier, Mt. Doyle, Outsider and Kytami on the Spirit Tree Stage.
Early bird passes sold out earlier this week, but general admission passes go on sale Monday at 9 a.m. at talltreemusicfestival.com
They go for $165 a pop, but guess what — we’ve got two passes to give away to one lucky winner.
To find out how to enter head on over to our Facebook page pronto.
Meantime, mark Monday morning in your calendar because Tall Tree has sold out the past three years in a row.
